Kim Keun Milligan

Kim Keun Milligan 82, of Springfield, MO passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018.
She was born on November 22,1936 to Juen Shik Kim and Kyung Sook Kim in Pyong Yong, North Korea.
Kim owned Bamboo Gardens in Mt.Vernon Missouri for over 30 years. She was very proud of her restaurant and it was her everything. Kim worked up until 6 weeks of the restaurant’s closing. When she wasn’t working hard, she enjoyed watching Korean Dramas.
Preceding her in death are her parents and her husband of 26 years, Eldon D. Milligan.
Survivors include her daughter, Jane Milligan and husband Matt Bowers; 2 grandchildren, Henry and Olivia Choe; 2 sisters, Jung S. Lim and husband Young and Choon Ja Kim and husband Lee Soo, 2 brothers, Seon Kim and wife Sook and Yu Kim and wife Hae ; nephews, Joseph and Paul Kim, John and James Lim and nieces, Larissa Johnson and Saras Chung.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 1-2 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte (4500 S. Lone Pine Springfield, MO). A family burial took place on Monday, Decemeber 31, 2018 in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens.
