Lori Renee Marrs

Lori Renee Marrs, 60, of Cassville, passed away Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield.
She was born Jan.21, 1966 at Baptist Hospital in Kansas City, the daughter of Charles and Carolyn (Cottrell) Marrs. On July 28, 1990 she was united in marriage to Jack Mattingly, from this union three children were born, Joshua Lee Mattingly and wife Tayshia of Stella, and Sarah Grace Mattingly, and Rachel Elizabeth Mattingly both of Cassville. Also surviving are her parents, Charles and Carolyn Marrs of Cassville; younger sister, Linda Patterson and husband Charles of Exeter.
She was a breast cancer survivor, and she spent several years fighting to survive.  She also worked as a chef for many years, there was nothing she couldn’t make into an amazing meal. 
She spent most of her life in the Cassville. She was employed by Walmart where she loved her customers. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Exeter. Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Tom and Doris Marrs and Joseph and Ena Cottrell.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept.r 16, at Washburn Prairie Cemetery in Washburn, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Jerry Yarnall will conduct the services. 
The family will received friends on Tuesday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
