Manetzke to stay in jail until trial

Facing charges of DWI resulting in at least two deaths, Aurora’s Theresa Manetzke has reportedly been denied bond and will remain in jail until her trial. On June 3, Manetzke crossed the center line as she traveled north on Highway 39 between Aurora and Mt. Vernon when she collided with a group of motorcyclists, killing four.
Manetzke admitted to taking several anti-psychotic medications earlier that morning, prior to the 11 a.m. crash. She also failed a field sobriety test.
A preliminary hearing is set for July 6.
