Mary Jane Brown

Mary Jane Brown, 85, of Marionville, passed away Sept. 4, 2018, at Aurora Nursing Center in Aurora. She was born Nov. 15, 1932, in Barry County, to Walter Allen and Coda Mae (Rea) Wells.
She was a 1949 graduate of Aurora High School and worked as a beautician and later at the Juvenile Shoe Factory in Aurora. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Marionville. In 1960, she married Sherman Wesley Brown, Sr.  
Brown is survived by: her husband; sons Sherman (Carol) Brown Jr. and Michael Brown all of Marionville; brother Jackie Wells of Aurora; sister Betty (Dale) Andrus of Aurora; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by: her parents and infant sister Elizabeth Ann Wells;
Visitation under the direction of the Williams Funeral Home, in Marionville was held Sept. 11, at First Baptist Church in Marionville with a funeral service that followed. Burial at the Marionville IOOF Cemetery. Memorials may be made payable to the First Baptist Church for the children’s program, in care of the funeral home.
