Mary Louise Early

Mary Louise Early, 71, of Mt. Vernon, passed away Nov. 18, 2018, at the Mercy Hospital in Springfield. She was born March 26, 1947, in Pawhuska, Okla., to the late Donald L. and Mary Evelyn (Woodard) Revert.
Early was a 1966 graduate of East High School in Wichita, Kan., and she served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era where she was a registered nurse. She was the owner of the Eye of the Needle and a member of the Covenant Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, William, whom she married in 1978.
A memorial service, under the direction of the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, in Mt. Vernon, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018, at the Covenant Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon.
