MV Chamber cornhole tourney draws 22 teams
Musicians Tyler and Cheyenne Giles, sponsored by Mid-Missouri Bank, perform on stage. The duo will also be playing on Friday, Oct. 13, at Apple Butter Makin’ Days.

Some 100 people made tracks to 417 Athletics Saturday, July 15, for the annual Mt. Vernon Area Chamber of Commerce Cornhole Tournament. A total of 22 teams participated.
“We're encouraged by the enthusiasm this event generated and are already looking to incorporate two tournaments hopefully for the spring and fall in 2024,” said Chamber Director Brittni Bates.
