MV water tower gets bath

The Mt. Vernon water tower along Mt. Vernon Boulevard was recently cleaned, which is generally done every three to five years. The city has a contract on all four city towers to be maintained at a cost of $73,716 a year, which includes inspection, cleaning, repair and painting every 10 years.
