Popcorn Cake

The Record’s “Recipe of the Week”:
Popcorn Cake by Darlis Gulick

1 cup unpopped popcorn
1 stick of butter
1 lb. bag of marshmallows
1 tsp. vanilla
12 oz. can of peanuts
8 oz. bag of plain M&M’s
8 oz. bag of peanut M&M’s

Pop the popcorn. Mix in the peanuts. Set aside.

Melt the butter, marshmallows and vanilla together in a large pan. Pour over the popcorn/peanut mixture and stir. Stir in the plain and peanut M&M’s. Mix well.

Press down fimly in a tube pan sprayed with nonstick coating. Let set in refrigerator for 15 minutes. Turn out on a cake plate and dig in!
