Ray Newton Crabtree

Ray Newton Crabtree, 59, of Verona, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026, at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Okla.. He was born May 20, 1967, in Canyon, Texas, the son of Joe Newton and Zona Mae (Raymer) Crabtree.
 
He attended Aurora Schools, in Aurora, and was a member of the Church of Christ in Monett.
 
He is survived by his parents, Joe and Zona Crabtree of Verona; one daughter, Jazmyn Fawn Collins and her husband, Cain, of Minn.; one sister, Gayle Heath and her husband, Matt, of Freistatt; one brother, Joe Paul Crabtree and his wife, Sarah, of Nixa,  and two grandchildren.
A graveside service under the direction of Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora, was held on Tuesday, Sept. 8, at Lee Cemetery.
