Local acting troupe presents Clue on Stage at the MARC
The Rebels Bluff Troupe performed their presentation of “Clue on Stage” at the MARC on Friday, April 29, Saturday, April 30 and Sunday, May 1. The play, based on the popular board game by Hasbro, was written by Sandy Rustin and takes place in New England in 1954, during the height of the McCarthyism and the Red Scare. Six people, known only by their pseudonyms: Colonel Mustard, Mrs. White, Mrs. Peacock, Mrs. Scarlet, Professor Plum and Mr. Green, are summoned to Boddy Manor where they, as victims of blackmail, are about to come face-to-face with their blackmailer, Madam Boddy.
The production was dedicated to the memory of former local thespians Kerry Green and Emily Owens.
