Spinach Salad

The Record’s “Recipe of the Week”:
Spinach Salad by Marie Miles

2 qts. torn spinach
1 can bean sprouts, drained
1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained
4 hard boiled eggs, chopped
6 cooked and crumbled bacon strips
1 small onion, thinly sliced or chopped

1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup oil
1/3 cup vinegar
1/3 cup ketchup
1 T. Worcestershire sauce

Combine the salad ingredients.

Combine the dressing ingredients in a sealable jar. Shake to mix.

Pour dressing over the salad ingredients when ready to serve.
