Taco Pie

The Record’s “Recipe of the Week”:
Taco Pie by Brandon Carpenter

1 pie crust
1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. chili powder
1 T. dried chopped onion
Garlic powder to taste
Salt and pepper to taste
American cheese, Mozzarella cheese, Velveeta

Bake the pie crust according to package directions.

Place the beef in a large skillet. Mix in the chili powder, dried onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Cook until the meat is no longer pink.

Place the meat into the baked pie crust. Add desired cheese on top. Return to the oven until the cheese has melted.
