Theodore Eugene Fees

Theodore Eugene “Teddy” Fees went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at 4:05 AM on Sunday, October 28, 2018. He was born September 24, 1940, at the Fees Mill home place near Halltown, MO. He was the youngest of the nine children of A.E. “Ted” Fees and Edith Faye (Stewart) Fees. Ted was a 1958 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School. He married Patricia “Pat” (McCann) Fees on December 26, 1959.
Ted was a long-time employee of the Paul Mueller Company in Springfield, MO, then retired after 16 years as a letter carrier with the United States Postal Service in Joplin, MO. He was a long-time member of Miller First Baptist Church in Miller, MO, where he had served as a deacon, Sunday school teacher, and choir member. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and great-grandfather, committed Christian, avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan, and a loyal friend and neighbor.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 59 years, Pat, of the home. Additional survivors include their four children and spouses: Teresa (Tim) Hill of Olathe, KS; Russ (Gwen) Fees of Dadeville, MO; Cindy (Dale) Gulick of Miller, MO; and Doug (Kris) Fees of Jefferson City, MO;  16 grandchildren including their spouses;  eight great-grandchildren, with one more on the way; two sisters: Mary Frances Rodgers of Rogersville, MO, and Ruth Hoschar of Mt. Vernon, MO; one brother: Ira (Sue) Fees of Republic, MO;  and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members and many friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Earl Fees, Gerald Fees, and Delbert Fees; and two sisters: Betty Potts and Virginia Fees.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Miller First Baptist Church, Miller, MO.  A memorial service will be held at the church on Saturday afternoon, November 3, 2018, at 2:00 PM with Reverend Dr. Mike Willmouth officiating.
