Za Hnin Bik

Za Hnin Bik, 45, of Mt. Vernon passed from this life on Sunday, April 19, 2026. 

Bik was born Jan. 20, 1981, in Bungtlang, Burma, to Hniar Kam and Zung Khen.

He was employed as a cook, specializing in making sushi. He was a member of the Farm Chin Baptist Church in Wheaton.

He is survived by his father; and nine brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the Farm Chin Baptist Church in Wheaton. Reverend Benjamin Bawi officiated. Interment was in the Muncie Chapel Cemetery, Wheaton. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett.
