J. WILLIAM JONES

J. William Jones, 88, of Crane, passed away March 8, 2020, at Aurora Nursing Center in Aurora. He was born Aug. 30, 1931, in Hurley, to Loyd and Ada (Inmon) Jones.
Jones was a 1949 graduate of Hurley High School and was a farmer and retired from MWM Dexter Printing Company in Aurora where he was a press operator.
In 1951, he married Anna Lea White in Eureka Springs, Ark. and they shared 65 years together. She preceded him in death in 2017.
Jones is survived by: son, Donnie (Faye) Wilks of Hurley; daughters, Betty (Geoffrey) Timper of Crane and Deborah (Don) Coffer of Aurora; sister, Sueann Jones of Crane; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Loyd and Ada; wife, Anna; and a great-granddaughter.
A graveside service, under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora, was held at March 13, 2020, at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora.
