Ronald Wayne Davidson

Ronald Wayne Davidson, 83, of Reeds, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026. He was born on Oct. 7, 1942, in Uniontown, Kan. to the union of the late Alva W. and Doris M. (Kegerris) Davidson.
On Feb. 14, 1992, he was united in marriage to Mary Ellen Shumny. Together they shared thirty-four years. For several years he worked for Justin Boot and Mid-America Hardwood. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Carthage. 
He is survived by his wife Mary; children, Wayne West and wife Lisa, of Lockwood, Kenny West and wife, Leandra, of Carthage, Bo West and wife, Lisa, of Carthage, and Wendy Edwards and husband, Mike, of Carthage; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and brother Bill Davidson and wife, Barbara, of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
Graveside services was on Friday, Aug. 21, at Dudman Cemetery, Carthage,  with Pastor Kenji Harrington officiating. Visitation was held prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to Bethany Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
