Vida Jo Finch

Vida Jo Finch, 88, of Cassville, passed away Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026 at Aspire Senior Living Roaring River in Cassville.
She was born March 25, 1938 near Avoca, Ark., the daughter of Jess and Joyce Johnson. 
She went to school at Rogers, Ark. until the 12th grade. She moved with family friends to St. Louis, where she graduated and met Walter Donald Finch. They married on Sept. 15, 1956 in St. Louis, and were happily married for 65 years until Walter passed away on Dec.12, 2021. They raised three children together, Steven Finch, the oldest, is deceased, Warren Finch is surviving with his wife, Nina, and Carmen Finch, the youngest, she is also deceased. 
She has three surviving siblings, Dale Johnson, Jack Johnson, and Margaret Jump, and one deceased sibling, Sam Johnson. Also surviving are three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Graveside service was held on Friday, Aug. 21, at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Garfield, Ark. under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Brother Tony Ball conducted the services.
The family received friends on Thursday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
