Anna May Turner

Anna May Turner, 97, Carthage passed away June 11, 2021 at Sarcoxie Nursing Center, Sarcoxie. Turner was born Sept. 3, 1923 in Reeds the daughter of Ben Hoover and Dewetta (Parker) Hoover. She married James Edward Turner; he preceded her in death on May 3, 2001. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Carthage.
Survivors include sons, Ed Turner (Joyce), Webb City and Dennis Turner (Mary), Carthage; sister, Wilma Youngblood-Welch, Carthage; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter and brothers, Jimmy Hoover, Herbert Hoover, and Fred Hoover.
Graveside funeral services were held June 15, 2021 at Park Cemetery, Carthage. The family received at Knell Mortuary, Carthage. Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Knell Mortuary.
