Arlan Dale Weibel

Arlan Dale Weibel, 70, of Pierce City passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2021, at Cox Monett in Monett. He was born in Lawrence, Kan. on Tuesday, March 13, 1951. He was the son of Norman and Velma (Edmonds) Weibel. Weibel was a 1969 graduate of Glendale High School in Springfield. He was a self-employed carpenter. Construction allowed him to build in many areas which included Texas, West Virginia, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Missouri, and the Virgin Islands. Weibel was of the Christian faith and attended New Site Baptist Church in Monett.
Surviving are the following: one son, Wesley (Kathleen) Weibel of Friendswood, Texas; two brothers, Aaron (Cindy) Weibel of Pierce City and Alan (Diona) Weibel of Mission, Texas; three grandchildren, and a special friend, Liera O’Neill of Aurora.
Weibel is preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Velma; a son, Caleb; and two sisters, Anita Weibel and Winifred Brookhart.
Weibel has been cremated at his request. The family received friends at Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City.
