Bebe Florence Watkins

Bebe Florence Watkins, passed away Nov. 29, 2020, surrounded by her family. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Koch, she was born Sept. 2 1930 in Cape Girardeau.
She was united in marriage to Billy Watkins Oct. 9, 1954 and shared her life with him for over 50 years. She was the adoptive mother of three children, Joyce Floyd, Marty Lambeth and Walter Watkins.  She had eight grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.
She was a longtime resident of Willard where she lived most of her life. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Floyd, Springfield; son, Walter (Barbara) Watkins, Marshfield; her remaining grand and great-grandchildren, as well as nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy; daughter, Marty; one grandson; brother, Douglas Koch; and her parents.
A celebration of life took place Dec. 4 at her home in Willard. Following cremation, her final resting place will be at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau. Memorials may be donated on her behalf to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
