Bessie Williams

Bessie Williams, age 94, of Aurora, Missouri, passed away at 6:26 a.m. on Friday, October 23, 2020, at the Mt. Vernon Place Care Center in Mt. Vernon, Missouri.  She was born June 23, 1926, in Bakersfield, California, the daughter of George and Hariet (Panapoulas) Zoulas.
Bessie was a 1944 graduate of Bakersfield High School in Bakersfield, California.  She worked for the Campbell Soup Manufacturing Company and attended Orange Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Aurora.
On April 14, 1985, she married Robert Louis Williams, in Sacramento, California.  He preceded her in death on April 9, 2005.
Bessie is survived by her son, Steve Liondakis and his wife, Cindy, of Aurora; one daughter, Pearl Baxman of Fort Bragg, California; two grandchildren, Steven Baxman and Kimberly Queen both of Fort Bragg, California; two great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Jessica Queen of Fort Bragg and one sister, Mary Rellos of Sacramento, California.
Bessie was preceded in death by her parents, George and Hariet, husband, Robert and one brother, Nick Zoulas.
A graveside service, under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, in Aurora will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at the Zion Cemetery, north of Aurora on Highway 39.
Memorial donations in memory of Bessie, may be made payable to the Mt. Vernon Place Care Center in care of the funeral home.
