Billy Gene Gaddy

Billy Gene Gaddy, age 80, of Stotts City, Missouri, passed away at 9:25 p.m. on Monday, August 17, 2020, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.  He was born April 30, 1940, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, the son of Willard and Anna (Wentland) Gaddy.
Bill was a 1959 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School.  He worked for the Missouri State Highway Department and was a cattle farmer and a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Freistatt, Missouri.
On March 30, 1963, he married Lois Faye Schoen, in Freistatt.  She preceded him in death on May 28, 2010.
Bill is survived by, Shelia Ramsey, of Stotts City; Corissa Heinz and her husband Travis and their daughter, Stella of Henderson, Minnesota; Dustin Ramsey and his son, Blasie, of Shell Knob, Missouri; Kari Gaddy and her daughter, Mayla of Springfield, Missouri; Jim Gaddy and his wife, Lois and Joe Gaddy all of Mt. Vernon; Edwina Clingen of Springfield; Patrick Terry and his wife, Diane and their daughter, Zoe of Lockwood, Missouri.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Anna, wife, Lois Faye, son, Paul Gaddy, grandson, Miles Gaddy and sister-in-law, Edith Gaddy.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 21, 2020, at the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon with burial at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Freistatt.  Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2020, in the funeral home chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in care of the funeral home.
