Billy Joe Bowman

Billy Joe Bowman, 92, passed away Friday Jan. 7, 2022. He was born on Feb. 2, 1929, the son of the late Joe and Loris (Edmondson) Bowman. He was united in marriage on April 19, 1947 to Clara Marie Pease; she preceded him in death on Nov. 3, 2005.
He was a retired farmer and truck driver, as well as a member of the First United Methodist Church in Monett.
Bowman is survived by one son: Larry Bowman (Paula) of Monett; son-in-law: Johnny Lind; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Joe and Loris; wife Marie and daughter: Sandy Lind.
Visitation for Bowman was held from 5-6 p.m. on Wednesday Jan. 12, 2022 at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett. Memorial services immediately followed visitation at 6 p.m. on Wednesday Jan. 12, 2022  at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett.
Memorial donations for Bowman may be made to Integrity Hospice or the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospitals.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett.
