Bobby J. Cline

Bobby J. Cline, 91, passed away Dec. 30, 2021. Cline was born in southwest Missouri on Feb. 3, 1930 and grew up farming. He graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in 1949.
On Dec. 31, 1950, he married Virginia June Gann of Charity. They moved to a small dairy farm just east of Mt. Vernon, where they became members of Summit Baptist Church and raised three sons, Stephen, James and Kevin. As an adult he worked tirelessly in the church, on the farm, running a dairy and being a Ford tractor mechanic. Cline and June retired in 2000 and moved into Mt. Vernon. Cline and June moved to Beaver, Okla. in December of 2019, where they both lived until their passing. 
Cline was preceded in death by son, Stephen in 2016 and wife, June in 2020. 
 He is survived by James (Linda) Cline of Woodward, Okla. and Kevin (Tammie) Cline of Beaver, Okla.; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A graveside memorial service will be held at Gann Cemetery Green Mountain Baptist Church near Charity in the Spring. Donations can be made to Carmen’s “Pay it Forward” meals at Carmen’s Café in Beaver, Okla.
