Brandon E. Wellbaum

Brandon E. Wellbaum, 48, of Monett, unexpectedly passed away in an auto accident near Goodman, on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021.
Wellbaum was born on July 24, 1973 in Springfield, the first child born to Gary and Mary (Grass) Wellbaum. He graduated from Monett High School with the class of 1991 and had spent all of his working years working with his grandfather and father at Wellbaum Tire and West 60 Salvage. In 2018, he purchased the business and changed the name to Autorama.
Wellbaum was a member of the Monett Church of the Nazarene and the Masonic Lodge.
On July 27, 2010 at Jolly Mill in Pierce City, Wellbaum married Nikole West.
Those survived by Wellbaum are his wife, Nikole, of the home; his boys, Tyler Culbertson, Jeremy Worm  (Crissy) and Michael Wellbaum (Kristen); two grandsons; his father, Gary Wellbaum; his brothers, Shelby Wellbaum, Dustin West, Matt Bailey and Jake Bailey; one aunt; one niece; five nephews; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death was his mother, Mary Wellbaum; his grandparents, Bill and Betty Land, Ernest Grass and Arthur “Red” and Ella Wellbaum; and one nephew, Gavin Wellbaum.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021 at the Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Josh Lien, Pastor Chris Carver and Pastor Kendal Arndt officiating. Interment is at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Monett. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday evening at the funeral home with Masonic Rites held at 8 p.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to Shriners Hospitals for Children in care of the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett.
