Carol Jean Weise

Carol Jean Weise, age 75, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away at 12:35 a.m. on Monday, July 18, 2022, at the Aurora Nursing Center, in Aurora, Missouri. She was born June 5, 1947, in Springfield, Missouri, the daughter of James Daniel and Lucy Jewell (Peppers) Campbell.
Carol worked as a waitress for the Wagon Wheel Restaurant, Tin Lizzie Restaurant, and the TA Restaurant, all in Mt. Vernon and the Country Junction Café, at Chesapeake, Missouri.
In 1997, she married Harlan Wayne Weise in Mt. Vernon, Missouri. He preceded her in death on February 6, 1998.
Carol is survived by two brothers, Charles Campbell and his wife, Anita, of Mt. Vernon and Donnie Campbell and his wife, Donna, of Republic, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Sharon Campbell, of Mt. Vernon and several nieces and nephews.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, James, and Lucy; three husbands, Harlan Dale Owens, James Jenkins and Harlan Weise; one son, Dale Owens and three brothers, Jack Campbell and his wife, Louise, Eddie Campbell and his wife, Renee, and J.D. Campbell.
A graveside service under the direction of the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, in Mt. Vernon, was held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 22, 2022, at the Summit Cemetery, northeast of Mt. Vernon. Visitation was held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2022, in the funeral home chapel.
