Christy Lynn Krueger

Christy Lynn (Fleer) Krueger, 50, of Monett, passed away July 25, 2020, in her home surrounded by family, following her dauntless battle with breast cancer on and off for the past 13 years.
She was born July 17, 1970 in Washington, daughter of Donna and the late Thomas Fleer. She married Kirby Krueger, in 1992 in Monett at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Over the next seven years, they were blessed with four children.
She worked as a paraprofessional for the Monett Middle School for several years She was a member of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church, attended St. Lawrence Catholic School and graduated with the Monett High School Class of 1988.
She is survived by: husband, Kirby of the home; children, Josee (Nate) Sparks of Dublin, Ohio, Abby Krueger, Allie Krueger, and Brennon Krueger all of Monett; mother, Donna Fleer of Bentonville, Ark.; brothers, Todd (Andrea) Fleer of Jonesboro, Ark. and Jason (Summer) Fleer of Bentonville, Ark.; one sister-in-law; three nephews; three nieces; as well as a host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by: father, Thomas Fleer; and her father and mother-in-law, Edgar and Kathleen Krueger.
A visitation is scheduled for July 29, 2020 from 3-8 p.m. at Buchanan Funeral Home of Monett. Funeral mass to celebrate Christy’s life will be held at 10 a.m. July 30, 2020 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Ronald McDonald House. Guests are asked to wear colorful attire . For the health and safety of the public and our staff, we ask that you observe and practice social distancing while attending services.  Wearing masks is requested to protect yourself and others. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home in Monett.
