Curtis Lee Nichols

Curtis Lee Nichols, 66, of Monett passed away Nov. 26, 2020, while at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, following a lengthy illness.
Nichols was born on Aug. 31, 1954 in Monett, son of the late Jack and Peggy Lee (Curtis) Nichols. He graduated from Monett High School with the class of 1972 and later furthered his education at Draughon’s Business College. He served his country in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged on Nov. 28, 1975. He had worked for Wilkins and Associates, later known as Pruitt Medical in Springfield and then Artificial Anatomical Products, retiring in 1999. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by brother, Doug (Karen) Nichols and sister, Cathy Nichols, all of Ozark; niece, Tara Nichols and nephew, Matthew (Sarah) Nichols; great-niece, Allison Nichols; two great-nephews, Josiah and Maxwell Nichols; and very dear friend, Linda Kelso, of Monett and  numerous extended family and friends.
Graveside funeral services were held Dec. 9, 2020 at Oakdale Cemetery, Monett. Arrangements are under the direction of Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett.
