David Michael Simmons

David Michael Simmons passed away on Aug. 16, 2025. He was born Dec. 29, 1971, to Richard and Nancy Simmons.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy, and his son, Thomas George. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Madeleine Simmons; his father, Richard and Nilene Simmons; his brother, Rick and Cheryl Simmons; his sister, Donella Jaeger; and two grandchildren.
He was born and raised in Missouri, where he developed a lifelong passion for cinema, music, sports, and the outdoors—especially hunting and fishing. Throughout his life, he longed for better and aspired to find love and peace in his own humble place in this world.
Visitation was at noon-2 p.m. on Sept. 6, at Wilson Griffin Funeral Home in Walnut Grove.
