Dean Steven Woolley

Dean Steven Woolley, 65, of Ash Grove, passed away Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021, at his home.  He was born Oct. 17, 1955, in Eugene, Oregon, the son of Richard Dean and Madeline Verna (Homer) Woolley.
Woolley was a 1973 graduate of San Dieguito High School in Encinitas, Calif.  Woolley served in the United States Marines and was the owner of Alpine ATV in Alpine, California for 18 years.  He was a truck driver for Best Value Mobile Storage and a member of the Teamster Union #0542.
On Dec. 23, 2012, he married Joanie Darlene Noe, in Bellefonte, Ark.
Dean is survived by his wife, Joanie; his children, Cory Woolley (Kelley), of San Diego, Calif, Rebecka Woolley of Lebanon, Clayton Woolley (Jinger), of Springfield and Lee Woolley of Phoenix, Arizona; his 11 grandchildren; his mother, Madeline Woolley of Rimrock, Arizona; two brothers, Raymond Woolley of Rimrock, Arizona and Timothy Woolley (Jan), of Flagstaff, Arizona; his step children, Daniel Matschiner of Leavenworth, Kan. and Jessica Matschiner of Springfield; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Woolley was preceded in death by his father, Richard; paternal grandparents, Mary Heinz and Oliver Woolley and maternal grandparents, Verna Emiliani and William Homer.
A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 1, 2021, at the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, in Mt. Vernon.  Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021, in the funeral home chapel.  A private burial will be held on Monday, Oct. 4, 2021, at the Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery in Springfield.
