Demitra Reness Robertson-Montz

Demitra Reness Robertson-Montz, 45, Miller, passed away on Thursday, Aug.12, 2021, in Mt. Vernon. Montz was born in Athens, Greece on Friday, Feb. 13, 1976. She was the daughter of John Wayne and Dorothy (Hutchinson) Robertson. She was married to David Montz on Sunday, July 30, 2017, in Dallas, Texas.  Montz was a licensed vocational nurse, in Texas, where she worked with patients on hospice and gave care to their families. After moving to Missouri, Demitra and David attended New Horizon's Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Republic.
Surviving are the following: husband, David Montz,  Miller; son, Johnathan Avery Jackson,  Richardson, Texas;  mother, Dorothy Robertson,  Richardson, Texas, sister, Stacie Robertson, Richardson, Texas.
Demitra was preceded in death by her father, John Wayne Robertson.
Graveside services will be at Restland Cemetery in Dallas, Texas on Saturday, August 21, 2021. Local arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City.
