Dewey Charles Adams

Dewey Charles Adams, 81, of Kansas City passed away Monday, June 20, 2022, at his home. He was born Aug. 23, 1940, in Shell Knob, the son of Doyle Malone and Lora Elizabeth (Roe) Adams.
Adams was a 1958 graduate of Aurora High School in Aurora. He was a United States Army veteran and was a mechanic for GMC for 30 years. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Veteran’s of Foreign Wars and St. Sabina Catholic Church in Belton.
Adams is survived by his daughter, Connie Berry (Gary) of Dade City, Fla; a son, Mark Adams of Dade City, Fla; two grandchildren; and a nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Doyle, and Lora; brother, Thomas Adams; two sisters, Bessie McCullough and Alta Mae Karnopp and friend Tom Kittrell.
A graveside service, under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora, was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at the Maple Park Cemetery, in Aurora.
