Dorotha Jean Brendlinger

Dorotha Jean Brendlinger, 94, of Aurora, passed away Feb. 29, 2020 at the Ozarks Methodist Manor in Marionville. She was born Oct. 14, 1925 in Aurora, to Arthur Lee and Dollie Kenyon, and lived in the Aurora community her entire life.
In 1942, she married Junior Otis  Brendlinger of Monett. She was an active member of First Baptist and Southside Baptist Churches in Aurora. She sang in the church choir, taught Sunday school classes and frequently volunteered to work in the church kitchen.
Survivors include: sons, Carl of Moberly and Terry of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; son, Jerry; sister, Juanita Kenyon Rauschelbach; and brothers, Russell, William, James and Robert.
Funeral services were held March 3, 2020 at 2 p.m. in the Peterson Funeral Chapel. Burial followed in Maple Park Cemetery.
