Dorothy Jean Carver

Dorothy Jean Carver, 64, of LaRussell passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022.
Dorothy was born on Oct. 2, 1957 to the union of the late Kenneth and Hazel (Scott) Whittington. On Nov. 30, 1973 she was united in marriage to John Carver. For several years she worked in nursing as a caregiver. She was a lifelong area resident.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Brett Bruenn; great-granddaughter, Gracie Williamson; and brother, Kenneth Whittington, Jr.
Carver is survived by her husband, John Carver; daughters, Dusty Carver of St. Petersburg, Fla., Brandy Bruenn of LaRussell and Bobby Williamson of LaRussell; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Carthena (Sissy) Green; brother, Ronnie Whittington; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.
