Eddie Louis Campbell

Eddie Louis Campbell, 77, of Mt. Vernon passed away June 11, 2021 in his home. He was born June 8, 1944 in Springfield, the son of the late Dan and Jewell (Peppers) Campbell.
September 1, 1990, Eddie married Renee (McClure) Campbell in Mt. Vernon, MO. She preceded him in death on January 21, 2021.
Eddie was a wheeler-dealer; he loved auctions, yard sales, and flea markets. He was known for his love of cars and trucks, his jokes, and his overalls with a snap up shirt. Ed also loved hunting, fishing, and coffee and conversation with his friends at Country Junction.
Eddie was the brother to the late Jack Campbell and JD Campbell. His surviving siblings are Carol Weise of Mt. Vernon, Donnie (Donna) Campbell of Republic, and Charles (Anita) Campbell of Mt. Vernon. Eddie has 10 children, the late Daniel (Sandra) Campbell of Mt. Vernon, Lisa Kerrutt of Florida, Bob Campbell of Aurora, Keri Campbell of Carthage, Marlana Murray of Republic, Edwina Manning of Mt. Vernon, Jackie (Mike) Lewis of Republic, Allen (Keri) Hudson of Mt. Vernon, Jenny (Trent) Taylor of Maryland, and Matt Golubosky of Pennsylvania. Eddie was the proud papa to 19 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren with another on the way. Eddie also had numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Also surviving is his little Yorkie, Bear.
A memorial service will take place on Thursday, June 17th, 2021 at 3pm at the Northside Baptist Church in Mt Vernon.
