Ernest Lee Creamer

Ernest Lee “Ernie’ Creamer, 75, of Monett, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022 at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin.
He was born Aug. 13, 1946 in Ontario, Ore. the son of John and Jessie (Jones) Creamer.  On March 8, 1976 in Miami, Okla. he was united in marriage to Christy Lyons, who survives.  Also surviving are two daughters, Dena Creamer of Clarksville, Ark. and Carol Davidson (David) of St. Louis; three brothers, John Creamer (Louise) of Winchendon, Mass., David Creamer of Cassville and Mike Creamer of Centerton, Ark. and three grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents and two sisters, Frances Deffenbaugh and Judith Sprinkles.
Creamer moved to this area in 1960 with his parents.  After graduating from Midway High School in Stark City he attended Crowder College in Neosho.  He owned and operated Ernie’s Chicken Shack in Cassville and The Broadway Inn in Monett.
Services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Bob Deffenbaugh will conduct the services. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cassville.
