Ervin Gustav Holle

Ervin Gustav Holle was born March 29, 1929 to Otto and Marie Osterloh Holle, of Pierce City. He was brought up in Trinity Lutheran Church in Freistatt,  where he was baptized April 7,1929, and married Patricia Ann Rusch in 1951.
He attended SMS in Springfield for two years. After owning a gas station in Pierce City, he joined the United States Air Force and was stationed in Roswell, N.M. After discharge, he and his wife moved to Dallas in 1956 to attend Southern Methodist University where he received a degree in electrical engineering in 1959. After graduation, he accepted employment with Geotech Teledyne, working with seismic observatories, followed by a career in investments and commercial real estate. He was an active member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church since 1956, as well as a lifetime member of Kiwanis International.
He is survived by: brother, Eldred Holle; sister, Lora Worm; sister-in-law, Gloria (Bobby Austin) Rusch; daughters, Tamera Ardrey and Dale Holle Troxell; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his parents; wife; son in-law, Don Ardrey; brothers, Marvin and Melbert; and two grandsons.
A funeral service was held June 5, 2020 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Dallas, Texas. Interment was at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. Memorials may be given to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church Music Ministry, 7611 Park Lane, Dallas, TX 75225.
