Everal Herbert Larkham
Everal Herbert Larkham, 82, of Wentworth, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022, at Cox-Monett in Monett. He was born in Norwich, Conn. on Monday, Feb. 13, 1939; son of William Herbert and Dorothy (Murray) Larkham.
Larkham graduated from Norwich Free Academy in 1957. He was active in 4-H and began operating the family dairy farm when he was a senior in high school. Larkham married Cynthia “Cyndi” Noyes on Saturday, Oct. 20, 1962, in Tunbridge, Vt. He continued operating the dairy farm until they moved to Vermont in 1972, where they purchased a dairy farm in Bradford, Vt. He continued running the dairy farm in Vermont and ended up spending almost 30 years as a dairy farmer between Connecticut and Vermont. Later, he was a truck driver. Larkham, his wife, and his son formed the Nomad Cattle Company 24 years ago when moving to Missouri. He was a member of the First Congregational Church in Pierce City.
Larkham is survived by his wife, Cyndi of the home; one son, Glen Larkham of Wentworth; two grandsons, six great-grandchildren; one brother, Delva (Sue) Larkham of Franklin, Conn.; and two sisters, Allene Holdridge of Ledyard, Conn. and Corinne Ashe of Glover, Vt.
Larkham was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers-in-law, Paul Holdridge, Jr. and Robert Ashe.
Larkham has been cremated at his request. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City.
