Fredrick “Fred” L. Howell

Fredrick “Fred” L. Howell, 87, of Aurora passed away March 8, 2020 in his home. He was born July 14, 1932 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He was a retired pattern maker for an aircraft company and was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Howell; Michael (Jeanie) Howell of Jefferson City; daughters, Kathleen (Jan) Walling of Yuma, Ariz. and Renee (Gene) White of Aurora; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: his parents; brother, Lee Howell; and a granddaughter, Amanda Howell White.
Funeral services were held March 13 in the Peterson Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Maple Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 1-2 p.m. in the funeral home.
