Gary Leroy Daugherty

Gary Leroy “Roy” Daugherty, 51, son of Gary and Brenda Bowling Daugherty was born Aug. 13, 1970 in Aurora. He passed away Jan. 17, 2022.
He worked at V-Mar Farm Store for several years until changing careers and moving to Republic Services.
Daugherty was married to Rebecca Medlin, on May 25, 2019.
Daugherty was preceded in death by his grandparents, Everett and Beulah Daugherty, Joe and Betty Bowling and his father Gary Daugherty.
He is survived by his wife Rebecca, his mother Brenda, his two sons, Max (Taylor) of Clever  and Jared of Hurley; his step-children Cody Seibert of Hurley, Jordan Branstetter of Hurley and Breanna Branstetter of Hurley; three sisters Angel (Bill) Basnett of Clever, April (Dewayne) Bradford of Highlandville and Tina (Frank) Pennington of Reeds; six grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2022  in Westrip Funeral Home Crane. Visitation was from 12:30 until 2 p.m. Burial was at Bowling Chapel Cemetery, Crane.
