Gladys Maxine Bobski

Gladys Maxine Bobski, 96, of Pierce City, passed away July 31, 2020 while staying at Lacoba Homes in Monett. She was born on March 3, 1924; to the late Columbus and Emma (Hilker) Young. She was united in marriage in Miami, Okla. to Raymond Bobski; he preceded her in death in 1986.
She was retired from the garment factory in Monett and was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pierce City, the Monett V.F.W Ladies Auxiliary and the P.C.C.W.
She is survived by: sons, Joe O’Hara and Mike O’Hara both of Pierce City and Edward Bobski of Mt. Vernon; daughters, Kelly Gray of Monett, Brenda Wilken of Pierce City and Rosalee Morton of Carl Junction; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Aug. 4, 2020 at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pierce City. Funeral Mass is being held Wednesday Aug. 5, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pierce City. Burial next to her husband will follow Mass at the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Pierce City.
Memorials may be made to the St. Mary’s Catholic School. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett.
