Harriet Lee Webb

Harriet Lee Webb, 93, of Miller, passed away Saturday, September 29, at the Lawrence County Manor in Mt. Vernon. She was born May 1, 1925, the youngest daughter of Hillard and Bonnie (French) Lee in Flemington, Missouri. She retired from the Miller School District where she taught business for over 30 years, including typewriting long before it was known as keyboarding, to upwards of 2,400 students throughout her career, 16 students at a time. She especially enjoyed following the lives and careers of her former students, their children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her mother and father; one sister, Daisy; five brothers, Harold Ben, Dwight, Charles and Richard; one son, Joseph and her husband, Charles (Doc) Webb; Survivors include: one daughter, Jane Neely; three sons, John, Jim and Jack; one grandson, Charles (Chase) Webb; two daughter-in-laws, Wanda Webb and Jerelyn Webb; and one son-in-law, Ray Neely. Graveside services will be held at the Webb Cemetery, southwest of Miller at 10 a.m. Saturday, October, 6, 2018. Memorial donations may be made to the Webb Cemetery.
