Iva Jean Roller

Iva Jean Roller, 81, of Purdy, passed away Dec. 24, 2019 while at Lacoba Homes in Monett. She was born Dec. 12, 1938 in Portales, N.M., to the late Alvah Lee and Lillian (Paxton) Erwin. She was a homemaker for her family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Purdy and also volunteered her time with the Barry County Historical Society. In 1958 in Monett, she married Teddy Wayne Roller
She is survived by: son, Curtis (Pam) Roller of Purdy; daughter, Melinda Sue (Roger) Theriault of Purdy; brother, Raymond Erwin; sisters, Inez (Gary) Linebarger and Ava Taylor; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; as well as a host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband and brother, J.R. Erwin.
Funeral services were held Dec. 30, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Purdy. Interment followed at Arnhart Cemetery. Memorials have been requested to the Barry County Historical Society in care of the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home in Monett.
