Jack Michael Thach

Jack Michael Thach, age 34, of Edmond, Okla- homa, passed away suddenly early Wednesday, September 22, 2021, in his home. Jack was born Decem-
ber 5, 1986, in Oklahoma City to Mike and Mona (Ware) Thach of Verona, Missouri.
Jack was a graduate of Me- morial High School in Edmond, Oklahoma, where he played on the golf team. Since high school graduation he became a scratch golfer, often playing at Karsten Creek in Stillwater, Oklahoma, as well as Oak Tree Country Club in Edmond, Oklahoma. He was also a member of the Bulldog band for four years. Jack was a 2011 graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma, graduating with a major in Business. He was a member of Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity and shared many special memories with his fraternity brothers and extended friends. Jack was passionate about Manchester United Football Club, Golf and OU football. He was a lifetime member of the First United Methodist Church of Edmond, Oklahoma.
Jack worked at Phillips Murrah P.C. in down- town OKC and was a loyal and loved employee for 9 years. He enjoyed his many friendships with his coworkers and enjoyed his job.
Jack was a kind, caring son, brother, grand- son, and friend and was dearly loved by all who knew him.
He is survived by his parents, Mike and Mona Ware Thach; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Spencer Thach and his wife Dani of Glenpool, Oklahoma and Nicholas Thach and his wife, Christy of Webster Groves, Missouri; paternal grandmother, Mary Lou Thach of Aurora, Mis- souri and maternal grandparents, Jack and Verna K. Ware also of Aurora. He was a proud uncle to Addison, Will, Olivia and Amelia Thach. Also surviving are aunts and uncles, Mitch and Judy Ware of Statesboro, Georgia, Wayne and Sherrie Thach Malone of Katy, Texas, and Jeff Thach of Aurora as well as his cousins and many friends whom he loved very much. He leaves behind his loyal companion, Riley whom he adopted during volunteer work at the OKC Humane Society. He is also survived by his life-long friend, Brandon Amaya.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, E. Jack Thach.
Visitation under the direction of the Crafton- Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora will be held from 12:30-2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at the Aurora United Methodist Church with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will follow at the Orange Cemetery north of Aurora.
Memorial donations may be given to the Oklahoma Humane Society in Oklahoma City in memory of Jack or First Independent Bank in care of Jack Muench, 1100 S. Elliott Ave in Aurora, Missouri in memory of Jack to establish a Thach/Ware Family Scholarship fund to provide scholarships for an AHS football player each year.
