James Clarence “Jimmy” Keeling

James Clarence “Jimmy” Keeling, 79, passed away June 6, 2020. Keeling was born Feb. 12, 1941, to Clarence and Vivian Keeling. He attended school through the eighth grade at the Butterfield School, and then high school at Cassville, graduating in 1959. He spent many years working on the family farm with his parents. After the passing of his parents, he sold the farm and moved to Monett, where he spent many years working for the Monett school district.
He is survived by: his cousins, Jan (Jim) Austin of Joplin, Bill (Marty) Keeling of Rogers, Ark., John (Debbie) Keeling of Boerne, Texas, Jo Ann Keeling of Seneca and Jannis Keeling of Bolivar. He was preceded in death by his parents, numerous aunts and uncles, and cousins Bob (Christine) Keeling, Larry Keeling and Gary Keeling.
Friends and family may call the funeral home June 14 from 12 p.m.-5 p.m. to pay respects and sign the book. Graveside services are being held at 11 a.m. on Monday June 15, 2020 at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Butterfield. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett.
