James Edward Foust

James Edward Foust, 93, of Mt. Vernon passed away Dec. 21, 2020, at Cox Hospital, in Monett.  He was born Dec. 25, 1926, in Stotts City the son of Edward and Nora (Enke) Foust.
Foust was a United States Army Veteran serving during World War II and was a truck driver for KAW Trucking Company. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Mt. Vernon.
Foust is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughter, Debra (Bubba) Ryan of Bellevue, Neb.; 10 grandchildren; several great-and great-great grandchildren and sister, Magrette (Homer) Baugh of Carthage. Foust was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Elsie Mae Foust; son, Larry Edward Foust; daughter, Barbara Jean Foust; brother, Marvin and sister, Helen.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 3, 2021, at Goss Cemetery, northwest of Mt. Vernon.  Arrangements are under the direction of Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, Mt Vernon.
