James Lawrence Christensen

James Lawrence Christensen, 76, of Mt. Vernon passed away Dec. 7, 2020 in his home.
He was born to Harry and Marie Garland Christensen on Feb. 29, 1944 in Rock Falls, Ill. He was a retired construction worker.
Survivors include his wife, Caroline; daughters, Charlene Farmer of Georgia, Linda James of Marionville, Laura Sterner of Aurora and Rhonda Baris of Springfield; sister, Leona Williams of Ky.; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the care of Peterson Funeral Chapel of Aurora.
