James W. Ferbert
James W. Ferbert, 78, of Shell Knob, passed away March 16, 2019, at Bentonview Health and Rehab in Monett. Ferbert, son of George and Thelma (Coats) Ferbert, was born Feb. 12, 1941, in Helena. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. In 2009, he was married to Dorothy Kinkle at the Assembly of God Church in Shell Knob. He was employed with TWA Airlines in Kansas City, where he was the lead mechanic for 25 years. Ferbert enjoyed his time as a ham radio operator and attended the Bridgeway Assembly of God in Shell Knob.
Survivors include: wife Dorothy Ferbert, of Shell Knob; step-daughter Monica (Murray) McGiluray of Shell Knob; one step-grandson; one step-granddaughter; three step-great-grandchildren; brothers, Lloyd Ferbert, of St. Joseph, Wesley Ferbert, of Orange, Calif. and Norm Ferbert, of Woodstock; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Kenneth Ferbert, George Gerbert, and Karl Ferbert.
Graveside services were held March 22, 2019, at Lake Park Memorial Garden in Shell Knob. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory in Cassville.
