Janice Kaye Timmons

Janice Kaye Timmons, 58, of Doniphan, passed away Jan. 15, 2020, at the Oakdale Care Center in Poplar Bluff. She was born June 30, 1961, in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Robert Eugene and Joyce Lavonne (Bailey) Shonk. She attended high school at Evansdale High School in Evansdale, Iowa and received her licensed practical nursing degree in Waterloo, Iowa. In 1995, she married Everett William Timmons, in Doniphan; he preceded her in death in 2001.
Timmons is survived by: her father, Robert Shonk, of Doniphan; daughter, Trishia Timmons of Doniphan; sons, Seth (April) Spaulding of La Russell, and Zachary (Kayla) Spaulding of Bolivar; six grandchildren;  sisters, Denise (Ty) Canaday of Memphis, Tenn. and Susan (Phil) Bayer of Joplin; brothers, Robert Shonk, Jr. of Memphis, Marlin (Christina) Shonk, of Ellsinore, Darren (P.J.) Shonk of Carthage, and Christopher (Betsy) Shonk of Webb City. She was preceded in death by: her mother, Joyce; husband, Everett; one granddaughter; and one grandson.
A visitation was held Jan. 20, 2020, at the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, with a funeral service that followed. Burial was at the Miller Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Miller.
