Janice Lea Hirsch

Janice Lea Hirsch, 81, of Lonedell, formerly of Sarcoxie, passed away July 2, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Washington.
She was born in rural Lawrence County Aug. 2, 1938 to the union of the late Leon and Virginia (Shull) Bass. She was a graduate of Pierce City High School. She was employed as a grocery store cashier for 40 years. She resided in Sarcoxie for many years until moving to Lonedell. She was a member of Freedom Christian Fellowship Church. She volunteered at the outreach ministry in Sarcoxie.
Hirsch is survived by: children, Terri (Mike) Smith, Sherri (David Toms) Hirsch and Randy (Jenny) Hirsch; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; as well as a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by: her parents; sister, Carolyn Moore; and three infant siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2020 in the Chapel of Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home.
